Mrs. Noah Stafford Huckaby
Hannah Nicole Everett and Noah Stafford Huckaby were married at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Bella Terra in Cave Spring.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Leroy and Mr. And Mrs. Greg Everett, all of Lindale. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Wright and Carol Everett, all of Rome and the late Marvin L. Everett.

The groom is the son of Cosetta Stafford and Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Huckaby, all of Rome. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ulyss Teague of Dalton, the late James R. Stafford and Mr. and Mrs. Worth Huckaby.

The Rev. Dwight Stafford of Snellville, uncle of the groom, performed the double-ring ceremony before an altar centered by an archway decorated with white hydrangea and white tulle.

A program of wedding music was provided by Doug Walker. Selections included “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring,” “The Wedding March,” “Canon in D” and “Bridal Chorus.”

Michelle Everett of Lindale, sister of the bride was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nikki Leroy of Carrollton, step-sister of the bride, Hailey Marion of Valdosta, Ryan Dailey of Carrollton and Katie Kiser and Rachael Lloyd, both of Rome. They wore strapless dresses of yellow chiffon. The waists of the dresses were accented with satin yellow ribbons. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of white roses, pink gerbera daises and purple freesia tied with yellow chiffon ribbon.

Jenna Lawson of Rome was the flower girl. She wore a gown of white taffeta with a pickup skirt scattered with sequins and pearls. The waist of the dress was gathered with sequin and pearl accents. She carried a white satin basket of coral rose petals.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, wore a formal gown of white satin with an organza overlay featuring a strapless bodice with scallop lace at the top accented with pearls and crystals and a lace up back. The corset-style drop-waist bodice flowed into a pick-up skirt with a chapel-length organza train accented with lace appliqués of pearls and beads. She wore a tiara of pearl and crystals and a white fingertip-length veil. She carried a bouquet of white Virginia roses wrapped in a satin ribbon accented with pearls.

Cooper Brown of Fayetteville served as the best man. The groomsmen were Justin Bruce of Silver Creek, Ryan Lombardi of Nashville, Tenn., Nick Gordon of Hiram and Ryan Loyd and Kyle Stamey, both of Rome.

Ushers were Josh Stafford of Snellville, Dustin Leroy, stepbrother of the bride and Matthew King, cousin of the bride, both of Lindale. Torren Stamey, godson of the groom, served as the ring bearer.

The mother of the bride wore a formal-length dress of chiffon mocha featuring a bodice accented with a pearl design. The stepmother of the bride wore a blue chiffon dress with an asymmetrical hemline. The mother of the groom wore a formal-length dress of pale pink silk. The stepmother of the groom wore a pink taffeta dress accented with a silver broach. They were presented with wrist corsages of white roses.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Bella Terra. Refreshments included the bride’s three-tier cake decorated with butter cream frosting and fresh flowers. The groom’s cake was a chocolate layer cake decorated with the Shorter College baseball emblem.

The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Magretta Hall in Rome.

Other prenuptial parties included a tea given by Ginger Stafford at the Cottage Treasures Tea Room in Ringgold; a miscellaneous shower given by Cathy Henderson at Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church and a miscellaneous shower given by Nikki Leroy and Michelle Everett at Judy Leroy’s home. After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Rome.
