| Workers fill holes at former Hooters site |

Workers at what once was going to be a Hooters restaurant at State Mutual Stadium were merely filling some holes in the ground this week. No work is being done on the unfinished structure, according to builder Johnny Hopkins. He said he doesn’t know what the future is for the property.
Hooters signage was taken off the building in May. Earlier that month, the existing Hooters on Hicks Drive was evicted under court order for defaulting on its lease.
