MISS MILLER
Rick and Tammy Miller of Clarksville announce the engagement of their daughter Kayla Sue Miller to Jeffery Michael Waters, son of Edward and Martha Waters of Rome.

Miss Miller is a 2001 graduate of Habersham Central High School, a 2003 graduate of Young Harris College where she was a member of the Sigma Beta Sigma sorority, a 2005 graduate of Piedmont College and currently attends North Georgia College and State University pursuing a Master of Arts degree in early childhood education. She is employed at Rebecca Blaylock Child Development Center in Rome as a Pre-K teacher.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Elbert and Jean Miller of Mount Airy, Paul and Helen May of Homer, Bill and Betty Vickers of Hot Springs and the late Doug Medlock of Hot Springs. She is the great-granddaughter of Francis Miller of Banks County.

Waters is a 1998 graduate of Coosa High School, attended the State University of West Georgia and is a 2005 graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta with a culinary degree. He was a member of Phi Mu Alpha Fraternity. He is employed at Southeastern Mills as a food technologist.

The groom-elect is the brother of Richard Waters of Raleigh, N.C. He is the grandson of Gladys Waters, the late Wendell Waters and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben Morgan.

The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, August 30, 2008, at Sutton’s Mill in Clarksville. A reception will follow. Invitations will be sent.
