Trion junior at Optimist International 07/26/08 Staff reports Email this story to a friend Jacob Reeves will have a chance today to add to an already successful run in Optimist Junior Golf. The Trion Middle School student will compete today through Monday in the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships held at PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Reeves qualified for the event by placing second in the Optimist Junior Golf district tournament held at Bridgemill Athletic Club in Canton. More than 600 golfers ages 10-to-18 will come from around the world to play in the annual tournament. Reeves will play in the 12-13 age division. The international tournament will feature golfers from 40 states, six Canadian provinces and 30 other nations. No Related links found
