Cameron Floyd and Todd Abney were married at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008, in a private ceremony at the home of the groom’s parents in Rome.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felton Floyd of Sugar Valley. She is the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Howard Duvall of Sugar Valley and the late Rev. and Mrs. William C. Floyd.
The groom is the father of Jordan, Grant, Hunter and Caroline Abney, who served respectively as groomsmen and the flower girl. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Abney of Rome. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Olin Skinner and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Abney.
The Rev. Greg Powell performed the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the McDaniel Station House in Calhoun.
After a wedding trip to Savannah and Tybee Island, the couple resides in Rome.
