An Adairsville woman was arrested early Friday morning at a Rome park after police said they found drugs in her possession.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Shannon Marie Haworth, 38, of 30 Westover Ridge in Adairsville, was arrested by Rome police at about 4:30 a.m. She was located in Tolbert Park at the intersection of Timothy Avenue and Charlton Street.
According to police, she admitted to driving to the park from Adairsville. Officers determined she had been driving under the influence, and upon searching her, police found that she was in possession of a controlled substance not prescribed to her.
Haworth was charged with felony possession of a schedule II drug, driving under the influence and criminal trespass.
She remained in jail Friday night on $2,700 bond.
