The Falcons released Gonzalez, a wide receiver, on Friday. Gonzalez signed with the Falcons as an rookie free agent on May 19. Gonzalez caught 89 passes, including 12 for touchdown passes, for 1,186 yards from 2004-06 at Boston College.
