A Summerville woman charged with concealing the stillborn child of her teenage daughter is scheduled to be tried in August.
Angela Anderson Green has been indicted on the felony charge of concealing the death of another person. She is scheduled for trial on Aug. 18.
The male child's body was found Nov. 6, 2006 when dogs dragged it into the yard of a Holland Community home near the Floyd-Chattooga County border it had been discarded in a shoe box near the community.
A Georgia Bureau of Investigation autopsy confirmed the newborn baby was stillborn. Chattooga County Sheriff Ralph Kellett said Green hid the body after her 14-year-old daughter gave birth. Green was released on $25,000 bond after her arrest.
