| Wreck on I-75 closes southbound lane |

Police shut down I-75 South between Chastain Road and Barrett Parkway near Kennesaw after a wreck involving a tractor trailer clogged up the interstate.
Though the wreck, which involved an 18-wheeler fire, has been cleared, one lane remains closed.
Through about noon Friday, one left lane will remain closed due to guardrail repair from the wreck. Southbound motorists traveling to Atlanta are strongly advised to use alternate routes until further notice. Check the Georgia Navigator Web site or call 511 for updates.
