From the Cherokee County Herald

Earlier this summer, local Carpenters for Christ joined carpenters from across the country with the relocation of Northside Baptist Church in Thomaston, Ga.

The project entailed moving the church from its present location to a newly purchased 15-acre land site approximately five miles from the present church site. The project included construction of a 60 x 80-foot sanctuary with stage area and restrooms, two 30 x 40 foot extensions that will serve as a fellowship hall and Sunday School rooms connected by hallway to the main building. Carpenters completed all plumbing and electrical wiring and tarpaper for roofing installation.
