The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a custom-made diamond white satin halter neckline gown embellished with a crystal and pearl bodice accented at the waist with overlapping layers of champagne satin ribbon and detailed back that extended into a multi-pleat chapel-length train. She wore a two-tiered diamond white finger-tip length veil edged with narrow organza ribbon. She also wore a diamond and pearl headpiece, a gift from her sister, gold double heart ring, a gift from her mother, and diamond earrings. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Rosabelle Manor in Adairsville. The groom’s cake was a two-tier chocolate cake designed in the shape of his black labrador, Brodie, wearing a red University of Georgia jersey.

The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Bella Roma Italian Restaurant in Rome for the wedding party, family and out-of-town guests.
