Floyd County police arrested two people Tuesday in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store in Lindale that occurred July 1.
Arrested were Travis Deandre Farmer, 25, and Erica Barrett, 22, both of 404B E. 19th St.
Farmer is charged with armed robbery, and Barrett is charged with armed robbery-party to a crime, according to Floyd County Police detective Gary Conway.
Conway said that Barrett was arrested at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, while Farmer was arrested shortly after 8 p.m.
The pair is accused of robbing the Village Green convenience store on Park Avenue in Lindale.
Conway would not divulge how the suspects were caught but said some good evidence led them in that direction, and it was good investigative work.
He added that police are trying to determine if the pair is connected in any way to two other robberies in Floyd County in April.

the convenience store, was held at gunpoint and forced to give a the male suspect several thousand dollars in cash from the register, police reported.
The suspect then fled on foot toward Circle Drive. Law enforcement officers from the Floyd County and Rome police departments, as well as Floyd County Sheriffs deputies, searched the Lindale area for several hours but could not locate any suspects.
