If the application is approved, plans include the purchase of weather radios, shutters for the 911 Center in the Law Enforcement Building and a Code Red phone system that will automatically alert residents in bad weather.

XIII. ATTORNEYS REPORT
The board added an executive session to its agenda to meet with attorney Scott Bergthold regarding an ongoing lawsuit filed by Entice Adult Superstore in Shannon.
Commissioners spent about 40 minutes closeted with Bergthold but took no action.
The litigation is still pending and, beyond that, I would have no comment, Jennings said.
A U.S. District Court judge upheld the countys ordinance regulating adult-oriented businesses, adopted shortly after the store opened in 2006, but Entice owner Charles Craton has until July 15 to file an appeal.
The two parties have been in court-ordered mediation talks.
