SunTrust on JP Morgan's acquisition wish list 06/27/08 Email this story to a friend From the Atlanta Business Chronicle JP Morgan Chase is looking to acquire Atlanta-based SunTrust Banks Inc., or several other banks, according to a New York Post story Thursday citing unnamed people familiar with the situation. New York-based JP Morgan also is considering buying Washington Mutual, PNC Bank, Wachovia Corp. and US Bancorp, sources told the New York daily.
