Randall Charles Edmondson of Summerville and Kimberly Joy Woodard of Shannon announce the engagement of their daughter Marcie Karie Edmondson to Gregory Brian Hunnicutt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Lynn Hunnicutt of Centre, Ala.
Miss Edmondson is a 2000 graduate of Model High School and a 2004 graduate of Coosa Valley Technical College. She is employed by the Plastic Surgery Center at Harbin Clinic in Rome.
The bride-elect is the sister of William Randall Edmondson of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Della Marcille Woodard of Rome, Evelyn Carrie Edmondson of Shannon, the late Carl Daniel Woodard and the late Willie D. Edmondson.
Hunnicutt is a 1999 graduate of Pepperell High School and a 2003 graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems. He was a member of the football team at Tennessee Technological University. He is employed by Shaw Industries Group Inc. in Calhoun.
The groom-elect is the brother of Jeffrey Lynn Hunnicutt Jr. of Cedartown. He is the grandson of the late Dewey C. Hunnicutt, the late Mary C. Hunnicutt, the late Benjamin F. Moss Jr. and the late Florence C. Moss.
The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the Hearn Academy in Cave Spring.
