Mr. and Mrs. Randall Bice of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter Heather Lauren Bice to Louis Luke Richard Smith, son of Louis and Gail Smith of Littleton, N.C., and Allan and Terrie Gardner of Dallas.
Miss Bice is a 2006 graduate of Pepperell High School. She is employed at Hibbett Sports as a sales associate.
The bride-elect is the sister of Ashley, Tara, Jenna and Haley Bice, all of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Emma Ruth Nolan, Paul and Debbie Huggins, all of Rome, Betty Jane Barnard of Centre, Ala., and the late George Barnard.
Smith is a 2002 graduate of Amhurst High School in Buffalo, N.Y. He is employed at AT&T as a sales associate.
The groom-elect is the brother of Jessica Green of Rome and Taylor Bishop of Dallas.
The private wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, July 19, 2008, in Gatlinburg Tenn.
