Young Republicans group gets charter 05/21/08 Email this story to a friend The Rome Young Republicans group recently received a charter from the Georgia Young Republican Federation. The local organization held its first meeting in April. The club is open to anyone ages 18 to 40 interested in Republican politics. Officers are Anna Sargent of Rome, chairman; Layla Shipman of Armuchee, vice-chairman; and Bo Johnson of Silver Creek, secretary and treasurer.
