Two new Floyd Medical Center physicians are coming to Polk County.
Dr. Greg J. Matechak has joined the staff of Floyd Urgent Care in Rockmart. Matechak will practice family medicine at the 1008 Piedmont Ave. location beginning June 1.
Matechak comes to Floyd from Cherokee Family Medicine Center in Woodstock. He earned his medical doctorate degree from Medical College of Georgia, Augusta. He completed his residency at Atlanta Medical Centers Family Practice Residency Program in Morrow.
A board-certified family medicine physician, Matechak is a member of the American Medical Association, Medical Association of Georgia and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
He and his family reside in Marietta.
Dr. Denise A. Crawley has joined Floyd Primary Care in Cedartown. She will practice family medicine at the 134 East Fairmount Ave. location beginning June 1.

ician for more than 11 years. She earned her medical doctorate from Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. Johns Newfoundland, Canada. She also completed her residency at Memorial University.
A board certified family medicine physician, Crawley is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
She and her family reside in Rome.
