Resaca Council: No to ex-mayor's request 05/16/08 Email this story to a friend From the Calhoun Times By Susan Kirkland The Resaca City Council voted not to pay $2,224.72 in attorney’s fees associated with former Mayor Joe Don Griffith’s lawsuit to keep him on last November’s ballot. Mayor Pro Tem Jimmy Brown brought the issue up, telling the council at Tuesday’s regular meeting that Griffith had received the bill and that Griffith wanted the town to pay for it.
