19-year-old arrested on gun charges at LFO
Teen says he forgot to remove weapons after target practice Sheriff’s authorities arrested a 19-year-old on the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School parking lot yesterday after officials said he drove up with five guns in the trunk of his car. According to a press release from Catoosa County Sheriff Phil Summers, Daniel Lee Cockburn of 402 Corey Circle, Fort Oglethorpe, drew the attention of school resource officer Charles Nix when he began blaring loud music out his vehicle while sitting in the school parking lot.
