Berry volleyball head coach Mika Robinson announced Tuesday the signing of two players to join the team.
The two players, Claire Scott and Stephanie Post, are the first two players to sign for the 2008-09 season.
Scott is a 5-9 outside hitter from Portland, Ore., and played her high school volleyball at Lincoln High School, while playing club volleyball with Nike NW Juniors, before joining Oregon Juniors this season.
Post is a 5-11 player that can play at either the outside hitter or middle blocker position. She was a second-team All-State player at Harrison High School and helped lead her team to the state championship in 2006.
Both players will join coach Robinson in her first season at Berry. The squad will look to build on last seasons success, which saw the Lady Vikings reach the Region XIII Championship match for the second, straight season. Berry finished the 2007 season 19-16 for the year and finished second in the Southern States Athletic Conference standings with a 9-3 record.
