| Food Lion introduces reusable grocery bags |

Food Lion, which has a location on Martha Berry Highway in Armuchee, began selling reusable shopping bags in all its stores this week. The bags are made of synthetic fabric and feature the store logo. They will sell for 89 cents each.
Store officials said the decision to offer reusable bags was in response to customers’ environmental concerns, as well as a desire to reduce the cost of buying plastic bags.
