Mr. and Mrs. Dennis and Kathy Urquhart of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter Kristin Michelle Urquhart to Benjamin Curtis Jones, son of Nathan and April Jones, all of Adairsville.
Miss Urquhart is a 2002 graduate of Armuchee High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of West Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in education. She is employed by the Bartow County Board of Education at Adairsville Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher.
The bride-elect is the sister of Brian Urquhart of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Ann Barber of Panama City, Fla., Ralph and Sylvia Barber of Duluth and Rudolph and Rose Urquhart of Powder Springs.
Jones is a 2002 graduate of Adairsville High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of West Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in illustration art. He is employed at Complete Sign Solutions of Adairsville as a graphic designer and is a self-employed illustrator.
The groom-elect is the brother of Albert Jones of Adairsville. He is the grandson of Christine Jones of Stockbridge, Naomi Monsour of Acworth, the late Albert Jones and the late Frank Monsour.
The private ceremony is planned for Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Frost Chapel on the Berry College campus in Rome. A reception will follow at the Forrest Building.
