Adairsville police officers responded to a robbery at a convenience store early Sunday.
According to Adairsville Police Department reports:
At around 2:45 a.m. Sunday, a man entered the Favorite Market on Joe Frank Harris Parkway. He picked up a lighter and placed it on the counter. When the clerk opened the cash drawer, the man jumped over the counter and grabbed a small amount of money from the drawer.
The clerk was not injured.
Police are investigating the event.
