Area homicides remain on GBI list

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has listed the state’s unsolved homicides on its Web site.

Among those profiled are:

Robert M. Woody and Patricia A. Woody, who were found at their home on Rudy York Road just outside the city limits of Cartersville on April 25, 1990.

Luise Martinez, a store clerk who was killed at Cassville Road Magic Market in Cartersville on Jan. 18, 1993.

Johnny Mitchell Jenkins, a businessman who was killed in a drive-by shooting in Adairsville on Jan. 20, 2003.

Walter J. Cropper, a young Federal Jobs Corps Trainee whose body was found near Adairsville on Oct. 6, 1992.

The Web site also lists unidentified remains, including a Hispanic woman in Cedartown and a white male in Bartow County.
