The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office has arrested the third of five suspects connected with January church robberies in Adairsville.

Jordan Andrew Acevedo, 17, of Adairsville, was arrested and booked into the Bartow County Jail Wednesday morning. He is charged with five counts of burglary.

According to previous police reports and news articles:

The Adairsville Police Department gave the sheriff’s office the names of the five players involved in the church burglaries in northern Bartow County the weekend of Jan. 20.

Andrew Lee Sauseda Jr., 19, and Caleb Linwood Cain, 17, both of Adairsville, were arrested after an initial investigation by Adairsville police and the sheriff’s office.

Adairsville police arrested Cain, who is allegedly the leader of a gang, on Jan. 23 for numerous charges. While he was in custody, officers were able to gather information regarding the church burglaries and three other suspects.

The Adairsville churches involved include Stoner's Chapel Baptist Church, Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Grace Temple Church, Community House of Prayer and Church of The Covenant. Two of the churches reported that a theft occurred during the burglary.

An estimated cost of the damages has not been calculated, but $80 to $100 in cash, small food items and a bass guitar valued at $500 which was recovered were reported stolen.
