CVTC to hold GED graduation Thursday night

Coosa Valley Technical College will hold GED Graduation for the 2006-2007 Floyd County campus GED graduates at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Floyd County adults who have earned the General Educational Development Diploma during the 2006-2007 school years have been invited to attend with their families and guests. Approximately 241 adults are eligible to participate in this year’s event. Awards will be given in the categories of high honors, outstanding graduate, citizenship, and achievement in language arts. The speaker will be Dr. Craig McDaniel, oresident, CVTC. Other platform dignitaries will include John R. Ware II, Coosa Valley Technical College Board of Directors and Linda Liles, Office of Congressman Phil Gingrey.

The ceremony will take place in Building H at CVTC.
