Two Atlanta residents were arrested Wednesday in Bartow County in drug charges after local law enforcement officials said they were found in possession of methamphetamines worth more than $40,000. According to news release from the Bartow County Sheriffs Office: Narcotic units from the sheriffs office and the Cartersville Police Department along with officials with the Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) Agency arrested the two suspects at a Glade Road convenience store.
Sonia Torres-Penaloza, 21, and Antonio Solorio-Torres, 22, were charged with trafficking meth and sale of meth. Sheriff Clark Millsap said immigration officials have detained both suspects. He said more arrests are likely.
