Polk County officials have released the names of a man and woman shot to death Friday in Rockmart.
Deputy Coroner Tony Brazier said 29-year-old Jeanette Eileen Rhodes of 206 Woodsmoke Road in Rockmart was found dead in her home and the body of Robert Mallin, 22, of 679 Old Summerville Road, Rome, was in the front yard.
Rhodes’ estranged husband, Michael Rhodes, 36, was arrested later that afternoon and charged with the murders, Polk County Police Chief Billy Wills said.
