A Rome man remained in the intensive care unit of Floyd Medical Center Wednesday night after a wreck on Shorter Avenue late Tuesday.
According to Rome police reports and Floyd Medical Center:
A gray 1990 Acura Integra driven by Julie Serena Hutchins, 34, of 23 Northside Drive, heading east on Shorter Avenue crashed into a silver 1999 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Anibal Perez, 22, of 514 Burnett Ferry Road, as Perez tried to turn left onto Burnett Ferry Road.
Perez was cited with failure to yield when turning left and driving without a license. Gary Paul Elliot, 30, a passenger in the Acura, remained hospitalized Wednesday night.
