Linda-Kay Woodean Launier and Camron Andrew McLaughlin, both of Rome, were married at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Saint Clements Catholic Church in Calhoun.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur G. Launier of Rome. The groom is the son of Torri Gulledge of Dothan, Ala., and Matt McLaughlin of Jackson, Tenn.

Doris J. and Loyce W. Bell Sr. of Rome recently celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary at their residence with their children.
The two were married on March 28, 1938, in Livingston with Shelia Williams presiding. The couple first met on a blind date several years after their graduation.
