On Friday, police arrested a woman and two men in connection with a string of violent armed robberies in Oklahoma City.William Aundra Frazier, 24; Monica Denice Zelaya, 25, and Edwin Dee Johnson, 32, were arrested on complaints of receiving and concealing stolen property, a police report said.
Mr. Johnson faces five complaints, and Miss Zelaya and Mr. Frazier each face a complaint.
All three were in the Oklahoma County Jail on Monday.
Mr. Frazier and Miss Zelaya were arrested when officers saw them get into a car and drive away from a house investigators linked to at least five robberies this month and last month, police records said.
Officers were preparing to execute search warrants at 3010 SW 64th Terr. and on vehicles that were parked there when the two tried to leave.
Police did not say how the house and vehicles were linked to the robberies.
Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said Mr. Frazier and Miss Zelaya had cell phones that were reported stolen Jan. 18 from a T-Mobile store.
Mr. Johnson also had cell phones stolen in the robbery, but police did not say where Mr. Johnson was when he was arrested.
An employee at the T-Mobile store was pistol-whipped and forced to take money out of a safe, police said.
In an earlier robbery, which police believe was committed by the same people, a 9-year-old girl was dragged across the floor of another store.
Sgt. Wardlow said investigators do not know if Mr. Frazier, Miss Zelaya or Mr. Johnson are responsible for the robberies, but officials think they may know who is.
Another man was arrested with the three on an unrelated weapons complaint, the police report said.
