NEW YORK--Shari Addison, the first runner-up on Sunday Best of BET, has released a self-entitled album. The album was produced by Percy Bady, Daniel Weatherspoon and Donald Lawrence.
Miss Addison said the release happened All in Gods timing.
It includes some of the heaviest hitters in gospel music, she said.
The album is a mix of contemporary and traditional gospel music.
It delivers a complete dose of hope and motivation, Miss Addison said. Its so relevant.
This group of singles will meet people wherever they are, she added.
All the songs are me, she said, but its a multi-faceted me that is exposed, and the album exposes many different layers of my faith.
Its uplifting and encouraging, and I believe that no matter whats going on during your day, theres something that will minister to you.
No Battle, No Blessing, one of the albums singles, the singer said, is a personal testimony that every listener will find comforting.
The raw power of her voice, coupled with the weight of her testimony, Kevin Bond, the producer of the single, said, will leave an indelible impression on all who are blessed to experience the depth of her anointing.
The album also includes Please Make Me Better, which Miss Addison said is a new twist on the James Cleveland classic.
He Does All Things Well, another single on the album, was described as a ballad of gratitude.
