News Worth Noting
WASHINGTON--It had been less than a week since Saturday Night Live had lampooned him as a do-nothing president when Barack Obama was awakened with the news that he had won the Nobel Peace Prize for his extraordinary and inspirational leadership.
The current effort tries to do two hard-to-reconcile things at the same time: improve coverage and control costs. The complex measure passed by the House recently does the first a lot better than the second.
