Local golf courses offer opportunities to enjoy the sport in an array of settings.

• Banbury Golf Club, 2626 Mary Post Way, Eagle, 939-3600. All-day rates (18 holes or more) are $30 for weekdays and $41 weekends. 9 holes cost $18 for weekdays and $23 for weekends.

• Cascade Golf Course, 119 Lakeshore Dr., Cascade, 382-4835. Monday-Thursday, greens fees are $12 for nine holes and $17 for 18 holes. Friday-Sunday and weekend rates are $15 for nine holes and $20 for 18 holes.
  
• Candleridge Golf Course, 2097 Candleridge Rd., Twin Falls, 733-6577. Weekdays cost $10 for nine holes and $15 for 18 holes. Weekend rates are $12 for nine holes and $18 for 18 holes.

• Clear Lake Country Club, 403 Clear Lake Ln., Buhl, 543-4849. Greens fees are $24 on weekdays and $28 on weekends. This golf course is semi-private, golfers must call three days in advance for an appointment.
  
• Council Mountain Golf Course, P.O Box 190, Council, 253-6908. Every day, 9 holes is $12, 18 holes is $16.

• Eagle Hills Golf Course, 605 N. Edgewood Ln., Eagle, 939-0402. Monday-Thursday costs $22. For Monday-Thursday from noon until 5 p.m., the two-player special is $25 each. Weekends cost $30. The twilight rate is $17.
  
• Fairview Golf Course, 816 Grant St., Caldwell, 455-3090. Monday through Thursday greens fees are $10.50. Weekends and holidays greens fees are $14.50.
  
• Falcon Crest Golf Course, 11102 S. Cloverdale Rd., Kuna, 362-8897. Monday-Thursday, greens fees are $39. Friday-Sunday, fees are $49. Twilight rate is $32. Prices include cart.
