Mia Strobel, a 7-year-old student at Central Elementary School, has been battling leukemia for almost as long as she can remember. Recently she underwent a sibling-donated bone-marrow transplant. Mias family, classmates, and friends throughout the area pray that the transplant will prove successful. Three events are being organized to allow the community to support the Strobel family this spring. Dust off your bowling shoes for the first event! The 16th annual Remington & Vernick Engineers Charity Bowling Tournament will benefit five charities this year, including the Canuso Foundation. Babes Kids is a division of the Canuso Foundation which is committed to helping the Strobel family. The family-oriented tournament will be held on Sat Mar 27.
