Food, fun, and facts. What more could you ask for?

The Historical Society will sponsor a candlelight dinner and special program about the history of the Indian King Tavern on Wed Mar 24.

The event will be held at Tavistock Country Club starting at 6pm with a cash bar. Dinner and the program will follow at 7pm.

Historian, Garry Stone, will debunk the myths and legends about the Indian King, a cornerstone of the American Revolution in South Jersey. Stone works at the Monmouth Battlefield State Park and is an active member of Friends of the Indian King Tavern.

The cost of the program is $42 for Historical Society members and $45 for non-members. The deadline to make reservations is Fri Mar 19. For more information, menu choices, or to make a reservation, call 429-7375 or e-mail info@historicalsocietyof haddonfield.org.
