The Haddonfield Lions Club has announced that six posters, created by students at Christ the King Regional School, were selected as the local winners of the annual Peace Poster Contest, sponsored by the Lions Club International.
Entries advance through different levels of judging – local, district, multiple district, and International. The international judging features judges from the art, peace, youth, education, and media communities, who select one grand prize winner and 23 merit award winners.
The local contest winners and runners-up, along with their families and their art teacher, Jill Palacki, will be recognized at the Lions Club's meeting on Thursday, March 4 at Tavistock Country Club at 6:15pm.
