The School District has informed parents of students about an incident that was reported to Haddonfield Police on Friday, February 5.
At about 5pm, two elementary-aged children walking on Redman Avenue near Avondale Avenue were approached by a male stranger in a car. When the stranger asked the students if they needed a ride, they turned and ran home.
The incident was reported promptly to the police.
The car was described as a red, newer, Subaru sedan. The driver was described as a white male, 20 to 30 years of age, with a full beard, and wearing a black knit cap.
