Representing South Jersey, the Haddonfield girls' varsity soccer team advanced to the NJSIAA Group 2 championship game on Tuesday (November 17), with a 4-0 semifinal win over the Central Jersey champion, Cinnaminson.
This game was Haddonfield's ninth straight shutout and its 20th of the season. Tina Davis stopped three shots on goal. Sarah Barrett, Kristen Ferguson, Emily Grabiak, and Kathleen Jordan each scored for the Dawgs.
Haddonfield will now play Mahwah for the NJ Group 2 title at 4:15pm on Saturday (November 21) at The College of New Jersey. The Dawgs have won four championships in five appearances.
