Thanks to the donation of a self-propelled floor scrubber, it has become easier to keep the floors clean at Respond's New Worker Job Development Center in Camden.
The battery-powered machine, valued at $6,500, was manufactured by Tennant Company of Minneapolis and donated through the assistance of Nick Nicolay, a past president of the Rotary Club of Haddonfield.
Maintenance staff at the center will use the machine to keep the floors of the center spotlessly clean and safe for students and faculty alike. It will be used in both the Automotive Tech Center and the Culinary Arts Center, both of which train local youth who hope to become auto mechanics and chefs.
The New Worker Job Development Center is located at 924 and 925 N. Eighth Street.
