As part of First Night, the Borough’s non-alcoholic, family-friendly New Year’s Eve party, kids will have the opportunity to bring this year’s theme, “Welcoming the World ... and the New Year,” to life. Elementary school students can enter the Out-Of-This-World Poster Contest by creating a poster based on the First Night theme. The poster must be eight-and-a-half inches by 11 inches. Mail entries, postmarked by Thu Nov 26, to: SJ Magazine, 1 Main Street E, Moorestown, 08057.
Officials from the Markeim Arts Center will then select three prize winners in each of the two age categories (kindergarten thru 2nd grade and 3rd thru 5th grades).
Entries will be displayed throughout downtown, at the Markeim Arts Center, and on the concert stage during the First Night celebration.
