More than 250 World War II veterans from throughout Camden County headed for Carl's Haddonfield Sunoco on Thursday (August 28) to receive free Sunoco gift cards valued at $50. The gas lottery event was designed by County officials and supported by three area businesses to provide fuel-cost relief to the veterans.
The Borough Commissioners were on hand at 11am to greet some of the winning vets from Haddonfield as they received their free gas cards.
allRisk Property Damage Experts, an emergency response firm that specializes in commercial property damage restoration and environmental remediation, provided the financial support for 200 gas cards with a $10,000 donation.
