The Girls Scouts of the Haddonfield Service Unit thank residents who donated boxes of Girl Scout cookies to the troops serving overseas. After the annual cookie sale, the Girl Scouts were able to send 748 boxes to the men and women in the military.

>Garden Club wins big at Philadelphia Flower Show
The Haddonfield Garden Club's exhibit at the Philadelphia Flower Show, titled "Low Key in the Keys," won first prize in the Back Yards category. The organization also received the silver Penn Valley Garden Club trophy for "Best of the Blues" for horticulture in the competitive division.

>Fortnightly fashions ... for fun and funds
The Evening Membership Department of the Haddon Fortnightly held a Luncheon & Fashion Show BOC Productions Goes to Broadway at Tavistock Country Club on Saturday (March 6).
Fashions by Marlene's Dress Shop and Plus Elegance by Lois were showcased. The photo shows several of the models during the finale.
Proceeds will benefit a number of local and regional charities.

The Haddonfield Lions Club has announced that six posters, created by students at Christ the King Regional School, were selected as the local winners of the annual Peace Poster Contest, sponsored by the Lions Club International.
Entries advance through different levels of judging local, district, multiple district, and International. The international judging features judges from the art, peace, youth, education, and media communities, who select one grand prize winner and 23 merit award winners.
