CODE #2 WINTER NO-PARKING CONDITION ISSUED BY THE CITY

Snow in Central Park this morning.
|
A CODE #2 winter no-parking condition declaration was issued by the City of
Decatur and went into effect at 9:00 last night. If your car is still park in a
winter no-parking zone, you are in violation of the restriction.
CODE #2 was a declaration of a winter no-parking condition due to the
snowfall.
The following restrictions went into effect on streets posted with Winter No-
parking signs:
1. The parking, leaving or standing of any vehicle is prohibited on
designated Winter No-Parking streets. Winter No-Parking streets are identified
by red and white

CITY COUNCIL MOVES TOWARDS GIVING DELINQUENT PARKERS 'THE BOOT'
The general consensus of all six members of the Decatur City Council who
were on hand for Mondays council meeting was that the infamous Denver
Parking Boot will soon make its appearance on the streets of the downtown
business district to encourage outstanding parking ticket offenders to pay up
or get booted.
Council members gave their views to City Manager Ryan McCrady and his
staff on which direction to proceed on making modifications to the existing
downtown parking system to bring about improvements to generate
