Blood Assurance is hosting a blood drive at the Calhoun National Guard Armory in Honor of the Soldiers of the 108th. The blood drive is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 300 North River Street.
Visitors will be eligible to register for a 2009 Harley Davidson 883 Sportster, the latest giveaway by Blood Assurance to increase awareness of the constant need for blood donations.
Blood Assurance is a non-profit regional blood center and the exclusive provider of blood prod-ucts for 47 area healthcare facilities, including Gordon Hospital. The four week promotion ends July 10 and all visitors at any Blood Assurance location or blood drive can register to win.
