The Reverend Ronald V. Meyers, Sr., J.D., founder and chairman of the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation plays his portable trumpet during the 2009 Juneteenth Alaska ALCAN Highway celebration October 28th. The celebration honored and recognized the nearly 4000 African- American soldiers who helped build the Alaska Canada Highway.
