Jasper coaches show off their new dresses after kids collect for needy

The Jasper Junior High and High School coaches kept their promise, and were sporting new dresses this week after the Junior High Student Council held a Canned Food Drive that went well beyond their goal.
The 7th and 8th grade classes had a goal to collect 500 non-perishable cans of food, but in the end they brought in over 2,100 cans, which were then donated to Jasper Share to be distributed to the needy in the Jasper area.
The Jasper High School baseball team did the lifting and delivered the food to the Jasper Share food pantry on Fletcher Street.
