Together they make a great team. Steve designed and built the theater, and loves to create a great sound, videos and special effects. Hazel loves to perform and introduce her musical friends to her audiences. They both love to help fellow musicians look and sound their very best while giving their audiences a great value and a great show. The combination of these things is what fuels the fire for the dream of Hazel Kinder’s Lighthouse Theater. They believe that there are lots of artists who travel and perform, but who do not have a quality local showcase. These artists are capable of putting on professional concerts that are fun and entertaining, and the theater will be a venue for artists great and small to shine. It will be a place where they can do what they love to do and learn from each other. Steve and Hazel believe in the local artists. When they recorded Hazel’s CD “Divine Weaver, A Tapestry of Songs” they used local musicians to record the music. They have had several “Hazel Kinder and Friends” concerts where Hazel has hosted and showcased many special guest performers. Steve and Hazel both believe that the local musicians, given the opportunity, can and will give a professional concert that everyone will enjoy.
