Dorothy Marie Evert died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at North Florida Regional Medical Center of a lengthy illness. She was 80. She was born in Trenton, NJ. She moved to Ft. White 18 years ago from Levittown, PA. Mrs. Evert was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Naomi Glover; a son, Thomas L. Evert Jr.; and a granddaughter, Elsie Marie Adams. Winford Alfonso Howell, age 98 of Alachua, Fla., died Tuesday morning, November 10, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family members. He was a much loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. Mr. Howell was born on January 13, 1911 in Baxley, Ga. to John and Matilda Harrell Howell. Virginia was a graduate of the Clarion State University in Pennsylvania.
